Wow, I love these shoes! These are definitely my favorite shoes. I even bought a second pair because I originally planned them for the wedding but I knew I would wear them all the time and wipe them down before the wedding so I now have a pair to show off and a pair to blow on. Which turned out to be a good decision, because one day I got caught in the rain and the puddles of course stripped the coating of the wood on the heels a bit. As they are also somewhat shiny (albeit less incisive than in the photo) they scratch fairly easily, although not excessively. However, Mars is barely noticeable after being worn fairly frequently for two months. I just want to have a pair on hand that are immaculate for weddings and other special occasions in the future. One thing that surprised me is how good their arch support is. I usually have to wear insoles in boots, but not in these! (Actually, the inserts don't really match these shoes, as the arch support is already pretty good, so adding more lifts the heel too high for them to fit properly.)
