These Keen H2 Venice sandals are great. I already own a used pair of Keen Newports so I was interested in comparing them. The main difference is that the Venice has fewer shoulder straps, so they feel a bit lighter and the ventilation is better than the Newports. Both have toe protection which is a big plus compared to water sandals from some other brands. Venice sandals are easy to slip on and off. Velcro straps won't tangle - you only have to buckle a strap when you need to tighten it. As I wore them I noticed that my feet were cooler in them than in Newports - again mainly due to the extra ventilation. Overall, these are now my favorite sandals for all wet/dry activities.
