The first thing that immediately catches your eye is that this product is very responsive! I really like how easy it is to slide the phone in and out of the holder. It will automatically recognize the phone once you put it on the stand. There are also two sensors to release the phone when needed. It relies heavily on a touch sensor, so you can slide on it and it will open and close automatically. You have three to five seconds to insert your phone before it closes again. The stand supports all the phones I've seen. Even if you don't have wireless charging, this stand comes in handy. It gets a little warm, so if you plan to use it on a fume hood, make sure the heater isn't on as you could damage the unit. It supports fast charging, but there is no QI connector, so you need to buy it separately to get fast charging. It supports normal charging, so don't worry if you don't want to buy a QI charger, but be aware that you are severely limited when charging. In normal charging, this depends on the type of charger used. If you can use fast charge, I say it can fully charge your phone in about 2-3 hours with fast charge. Overall I think this project is great! It opens and closes automatically and provides your phone with enough juice, so you don't have to worry about your phone breaking out or having to plug it in. If you also have a CD player holder, it will actually fit in as long as you have a ball joint.
