I bought this product to hold my hat collection. I have a western style fedora. There is also a pair of kangaroo leather hats. This product is perfect for storing my hats without damaging them. Installation was as simple as drilling a hole in the drywall with a small screwdriver and then inserting the anchor. The screws are screwed into the stand without dowels. is sturdy and would hold more than one hat, you could probably store a few hats at the end. My double oversized western fedora hat fit perfectly. I installed it in two different places. Being able to separate each of them in a different location was a huge benefit for me. If I need five more, I will have no problem buying this product again.
