I use a small case for my Mavic Mini. This allows me to take my essentials with me, including the drone, controller and a few extra batteries, but that's about it. There is literally no room for anything else. I wanted a larger and more durable case for travel and also to be able to carry more gear. This Symik case is perfect for this purpose. It's big enough for all my gear, strong and durable enough that I can trust it to protect my Mini in harsh or extreme conditions. The foam interior has cutouts perfect for the Mini, three spare batteries, charging dock, controller and SD cards. There is an additional recess that can be used for extra batteries or accessories if needed. The extra cutout doesn't fit and the foam insert needs to be removed before use, but it's perfect for packing more items if needed. All of my gear is securely placed and secured within the foam cavities. There are no loose or loose parts to worry about. The kit also includes three plastic sleeves for accessories and a small plastic sleeve for an SD card. The three plastic cases that come with it are exactly the same size and dimensions as the batteries, but are not designed to store the batteries. Instead, they're designed to hold small accessories like extra propellers, controller sticks, phone cords, and other small items in the battery compartment if needed. No matter which choice is made, the batteries and cases fit perfectly into the cavities provided and are well protected. Small foldable landing pads, like Symik's own LP500E, fit easily into the bottom of the case under the foam. Large pads like my medium Hoodman are too bulky to fit in. I still plan on taking my tablet on flights, but maybe I'll take a Symik tablet for added convenience. It's nice to be able to carry everything, including the landing pad, in one large suitcase instead of splitting it up into two or three smaller suitcases. The only hazard/issue I have in this case is that the propeller sticks out easily and can be crushed (see image below). It's the only threat to my gear when it's in this sturdy, well-designed case.
