A few years ago I bought a couple of Lenovo G50 laptops. We didn't use them much until Covid struck and had to use one for distance learning. The daughter complained about the slow work. I took a closer look and found that the laptop only has 4GB of RAM (the minimum for Windows 10 64-bit). I ended up buying the exact same brand, speed, etc. When this happens, studies have shown that this offers the highest chance of a successful upgrade. The product was received early (only 2 days). Installation took about five minutes. (Note that there was a YouTube video on this model which made it easier to understand as the process is slightly different than desktop storage). The device now has 8 GB of RAM and performs significantly better. At $15 it was a very economical upgrade. TIP: If you currently only have one module and two slots, as is the case with Lenovo, the module may be marked DOWN as opposed to the module already installed. The gold contacts of the connector face each other. Place the module at a 45 degree angle and gently push until you hear a click. In this case, the 4 chips on the back of the module are facing you.
