Love it! Absolutely worth every penny. I don't have kids or anything, but I do have an older cat who doesn't get along with other animals. We used to have to put her in a separate room with the door closed, which always made me feel bad because she was lonely. But now I can keep the door open just using the gate so she feels like she's part of the action and not being bothered by dogs or other cats. It was very easy to install and seals very tightly so it won't come off even if the dog jumps up and presses on it. And the lock is very strong. Animals can't just push it to open the door. It literally has to be pushed and unlocked, then lifted to open. And I like that the door can be opened in both directions. And the bars in the middle are so far apart that an adult animal cannot squeeze between them. Our kitty gets in and out freely but it doesn't bother my older cat and he won't be able to squeeze in soon enough. But no matter what you need, if you're thinking of buying a gate, this is the way to go!
