I bought this sign because we change our working hours due to public holidays, vacations and other reasons. We had a plastic sign where you could change the letters/numbers as you wished. But we have also replaced this sign several times due to cracks in the area of the letter attachment, which inevitably occurs with signs of this type. And from time to time we forgot to put the shield in the open position. This sign was the answer to all our problems. Pairing your phone to the shield via bluetooth was simple and straightforward. We were able to set our clock as needed and program the "OPEN" portion of the sign to turn on and off automatically as needed. It was also nice to be able to change the colors of the different areas of the shield to your liking. The shield's internal time was automatically set when connected via Bluetooth and is working properly. The sign is bright and easily visible in bright sunlight. Although it's a bit washed out in direct sunlight, it's still clearly visible. Now I don't know how the sign will react to Daylight Saving Time, but at least I know that when I connect to the phone, the time should update when I do. I will update this review if not in November.
