So I know most people like me are concerned if the board you buy says "Ryzen 3000 Ready" which means that it will work out of the box with any Ryzen Gen 3 processor, and you don't need to buy or borrow a Gen 1.2 processor to update the BIOS. I cannot guarantee that this will be the case for all depending on what is in Amazon's warehouse and which warehouse it comes from. But I can tell you that when I bought mine (12/29/19) when Amazon ran out of stock I got one that had a Ryzen 3000 Ready on the outside of the box. Some recent reviews have said that's not the case, but I just wanted to post this to show that it can happen. If you have one, it will appear in an orange text box in the front lower left/center. (As shown in the picture) Unfortunately none of my other parts are here yet to test this, but I just wanted to post this to show that it's possible. You just have to take the risk now. Hope that helps. I'll update if it doesn't work but for now I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a really up to date board.
