I bought her and Keen in a similar style at the same time. I ended up returning the Keens and keeping the Gritions for one reason: I could adjust the back strap. The Keen were nice and probably a little softer (I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing) but the ability to open the back of the sandal and use them as "open slip-ons" is another option I really like like. On the other hand, if you want to use them for more casual adventure shoes, you can tighten the front and back straps and your sandals won't go anywhere. In summary these are good all round sandals at a reasonable price and I'll be buying another pair when they finally go on sale oh and I've had them for about a year now. Excellent hold. They may not look brand new but the upper and sole are still in fantastic condition and I expect they will easily last a few more years. No one should have paid me to say that lol I didn't get them for free, there was no deal, no money, no discount on the next pair (wouldn't turn it down lol). I'm just glad I found a good shoe. And I was looking for another pair of sneakers when I stumbled across these again and thought I was actually very happy with the purchase I made last year so I'll write a review. So there is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Happy hunting!
