These pliers work great. I hold the pliers in my left hand and the jewelers saw in my right hand, which gives me an extra level of control - I can change position if I need to, making sawing easier and less tiring. Sometimes I would put the end of the pliers in a small vise and saw like that. I've cut hundreds of jump rings with them and they hardly ever wear out. I am very happy with them! The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they only hold very short coils.
