I love the convenience of magnetic chargers and data cables. I will say they work well although they don't charge as fast as I was hoping. I ran into a problem when using this in my machine. You see, I didn't want to wear out my phone connector by constantly plugging and unplugging the cord, so I thought it would be a great idea and data to allow me to use my apple play vrs wireless charging options without wearing out the connector. We got off to a great start, then my music cut out, the connection was gone and a moment later it was back. I quickly found that the drive's vibration was shaking the magnet, momentarily breaking the connection. So if you want to use this driving, you may encounter this problem. I also came across several batteries which I was trying to charge, the magnetic part seemed to be playing with them and driving them crazy for a while. After I removed the magnetic part, it worked perfectly again. So I'm not sure if the magnet interferes with the battery or the electronics, but it stops immediately when removed. Now when I charged my Fire tablet, there was no problem. Or other things like my mini USB rechargeable soap dispenser. I liked the idea of using one cable for iPhone, mini-USB and Type-C device like my tablet. So think about why you are buying it. Unfortunately my car was a big part of why I got it and doesn't fit the situation.
