My shoes are 10.5 inches wide and my feet are very uncomfortable and sweaty. I bought them for the first time and I was satisfied. I find them very comfortable. Good combination of softness and cushioning at the bottom and thinness at the top for breathability. I wore them first without washing, then again after cleaning. I haven't noticed any difference. Didn't lose weight. They have a good balance of comfort and breathability. These are some of the best socks I've bought in a long time. I find that my feet breathe better than with other socks and I don't sweat going about my day like I do with other socks. I like them and am very happy with my purchase. Update: I bought a second pack, I really liked it. The first batch is holding up well. No scuffs or scrapes that would make me throw them in the trash. I like - um!
