I sent this cute plush nephew to my 8 month old nephew who tries new purees every day including avocado which is one of his favorite dishes. He was just as happy with the toy, although I'm not sure he understands that it's meant to represent an avocado. However, his parents were happy too! I sent him the smallest size which seemed too big to him. The largest size looks absolutely massive (and quite expensive) in comparison. The quality of the toy is good. This is something that will definitely stand up to a little kid's usual play.
