The scent disappointed me. It doesn't smell like the lavender I'm used to. I use a lot of essential oils and lavender is my favorite. When I saw that Smells Begone had a lavender spray I decided to buy it because their website says they use essential oils as a fragrance. I don't usually use commercial fragrance sprays, as all fragrances are too strong and fake. You're giving me a bad headache. Connected things are the worst. I've been using Smells Begone for ages because it eliminates unscented odors. I like the regular unscented Smells Begone. With this lavender spray, the smell lingered in the air longer than I expected. Sprayed in the garage for testing. When I came back a few minutes later I could still smell him. I was surprised by this based on what other reviewers have said. The smell isn't terrible or gives me a headache like other scented sprays. It smells familiar and I can't figure out what it smells like, but it doesn't smell like lavender to me. Perhaps "English lavender" smells different than other lavender I've used, French lavender, or homemade local lavender. I love lavender, even the taste of it. But this product is disappointing. I will put it in the powder room to use there. I was hoping to use it on my pillow but I won't. Smells Begone is generally excellent. It seems more difficult to find the original unscented version as they started releasing the flavored version many years ago.
