This Samtra bed was a real find. My college age moved into an apartment that had no furniture. And while he was determined to just sleep on the floor in an airbed, I didn't. As a mother, I chose this bed and thought it was perfect. And for the following reasons: 1. Good. This bed is inexpensive but stylish and attractive.2. Good. This bed is easy to assemble. Poorly. It has many parts. And good again. Details are marked with letters or numbers.3. Good. The bed frame is metal, with a beautiful wood accent on the headboard.4. Good. The kit includes everything you need to assemble the bed (e.g. an Allen key).5. Good. This platform bed does not require a spring block. Just add a mattress (bed in a bag) and you're good to go.6. Good. Solidly made, strong when assembled correctly. (Note: make sure the railing tabs are facing up or you'll have to disassemble and start over). Good. Assembly takes 30 to 45 minutes.8. He didn't decide. This bed is not very high, but sufficient. It sits 1 to 1.5 feet off the ground so you can store items underneath if needed. And overall, if you include the headboard, it's about 4 feet tall.9. Good. This is a real double bed. My son is 6ft 4in, about 180lbs and fits this bed perfectly. Overall this is a good value piece of furniture to give away or buy as stater furniture.
