I ordered two 32-inch Samsung UR59 Curved 4K monitors knowing they were over three years old because I liked the price. Having never used a curved monitor before, I wanted to try one without spending $800+. When I saw the box, which was badly damaged (the second monitor never arrived), I was surprised at how small it was. I had to confirm that it was the 32" version. After unboxing, I was also surprised by the weight and simplicity of the overall design. To be honest, I was surprised by the Samsung product. The mounting of the stand on the back of the monitor and connecting (power and video) was pretty easy. I was also not happy that I cannot adjust the height of the monitor. It is fixed, for example the stand does not allow height adjustment. When the monitor was on ( I have an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 Ti), blacks were very, very muted - very dark - and the color temperature was very warm. This surprised me. Most monitors I've bought were colder before I calibrated them. I do a lot of graphic design, video editing, 3D modelling, etc. After some research, I was disappointed to find that the display doesn't have the color space and contrast ratio that a 4K monitor should, viz at 60 Hertz. , this is not a gaming monitor. So I think it's really just a high-end office monitor. In short, not very happy. Absolutely NOT like the curved thing. Maybe I'm just too used to flat screens. I will return it for a refund.
