Review on Royal Canin Nutrition Shepherd 30 Pound Dogs by Melvin House

My wife and I recently adopted a new purebred German Shepherd puppy. We have invested heavily in him and love him dearly and we were concerned when he was not eating the food recommended by the pet store. I contacted the pet store and they told me to just keep feeding him their store food and he will eventually eat it because he will realize he will either have to eat it or starve! I was shocked. They just want you to keep buying them food. German Shepherds are an extremely intelligent breed. If they don't like the food you feed them, they'll only eat enough so they don't starve and end up with a very skinny dog. that's our pup's name) try a few different brands and one of them was Royal Canine but not GS. Seems he likes it more than the others. We found the GS version of the Royal Canine at Revain and jumped at the chance to buy it before we knew if he would actually like it, but we wanted the best for our new pup. I'm very happy to report that Jackson just LOVES this food. With the old food, he only ate a few bites. With this food he eats almost all of the cup and a half plus a third of the can of canned food we give him with meals. I am pleased to report that we now have the assurance that Jackson will grow into a healthy, fat dog. I will update this review if anything changes but for now this meal is amazing. Highly recommended.
