The seller suggested these because you can spread your forefoot and toes. That's where my pain begins and it's serious. I used to wear sneakers with high foam soles, but that didn't help anymore. I tried these and it was weird finding out where the bottom was again but after deliberation I bought them here the next day. To my surprise, my orthotic insoles fit due to the extra forefoot height and they also fit well on the heel. I had to get used to it and turn it off after a few hours, but now I like it. The design of the shoe, which is wider at the front and then tapers towards the heel, fits my feet perfectly. A little more padding on this model compared to other models helps under hard orthopedic insoles. The only thing I would change is that they should have longer laces. These are sneakers but I only run now and I haven't found anything better for them. Runners can think differently.
