Basic inexpensive retractable
Using this cheaper retractable on a diy elevator I built for the garage loft. When fully extended vertically with just the weight of its cable and latch it does not alway retract on it's own without taking the weight of the latch off the cable.Hopefully I will not need to test if it will work as advertised.
