This shelf is simply good. It looks great in my 5 year old daughter's bedroom, includes a night light, some stuffed animals and some of her favorite little things. I had to make some adjustments related to security issues and appearance. This is an enormous risk of tipping over! It doesn't have the necessary balance leg in the front, just the main legs in 3-point triangles. I added a thicker bar painted white closer to the front to eliminate the tilting issue. The triangular tiers are unpainted on the underside and are made of plain dark brown composite wood. Had to paint those undersides white as well - The silver butterfly nuts are fully visible under each layer - It scratches and scrapes very easily. Always have touch-up paint to hand!
