This little inexpensive device is very useful. My new gas generator has a time frame for service requirements. That's what makes it so easy. I have 2 other generators and I have no idea how many hours they ran and missed the need for maintenance because of it. This greatly facilitates tracking and timely maintenance. Supplied with pressure gauge, 2 fastening screws, 2 cable ties and a cable strip for measuring the speed at the spark plug. Installation was easy. Simply access the spark plug wire and wrap the wire around it 5 times. Secure the cable with the supplied cable ties. Pass the wire through the bottom slot on the meter. Install a pressure gauge. Instead of screwing it down I decided to use double sided tape to secure it. Reading stays active all the time, even when it's turned off. You can see the running time at a glance without having to start the generator. It shows an hourglass figure that flashes when it reads the RPM signal. This starts the timer and saves screen time. So glad I got this one.
