I used the original product many years ago when Snappi was just launched by a housewife selling baby products from home! That was before Revane was in fashion! ;) The old snappis were thicker and seemed easier to pull and stretch! The current version I have has a slimmer design which I can't complain about; it makes sense! I'm just worried about the thinness and hope they don't break easily! I've read great reviews. Only time will tell if the new remastered version of The Snappi will hold up as well as its old original version! I had 3 older models and they lasted 3 years with daily use! Each of them lasted about a year on average. Two broke, the third stayed in the drawer and became brittle over time. They are still easy to work with! I recommend using the end tabs to cover the sharp teeth when not in use! To do this, the tongues are inserted, and DO NOT PULL and do not stretch the clasp! Just hold the white handle to secure the clasp! Hope this helps those who broke a few tabs or tabs! I also love the color options, purple and gray are my favorites! After all, I used to only have mint green available!
