I ordered this to replace the presser foot holder on my Janome 8050. It is set up differently from the original part and at first I wasn't sure if it would fit my car because it drives a little differently. I finally found this out after searching the internet. I tightened it and must not have tightened it enough because as soon as I started sewing it came loose. It's a little strange, but it works for now. I pulled out 6 wipes after taking the tongs to make sure they were a snug fit. So yes, so far so good. Can't beat the price.
