When we first got it it took us a minute to figure out how to open and close it. Thing is, I have an autoimmune condition that affects the spine and I liked the idea of something foldable and light to sit on. To open it I've found that sometimes I have to pry it open instead of pulling on the finger holes because I don't have the strength in my hand to open it easily, but it works if I can take it apart. If you close or trim it, spread it out a bit first and it should collapse fairly easily. At the moment I'm using it as a foot rest and I love that I can adjust it exactly how I want it, but if someone comes to me I can easily convert it to a full size seat. The charger works great and who doesn't need an extra battery source in a pinch?
