My TV only has two HDMI ports so I needed a switch. It seems to be working fine, no noticeable lag or image issues. I wanted a switch with all ports on one side and this is one of the few with this feature. Unfortunately, the design no longer sits flat when you plug in the cables. It comes with a power cord, but my devices draw enough power so I don't use it. The remote control is very small and quite cheap, but it works. If the remote control is lost, you can switch ports manually. There are red LEDs on the front, but they're not too bright or distracting. If you want to connect a Fire Stick, that will block 2 ports, so I would suggest buying an extension cable if you need all 3 ports. It's mostly plastic and made in China, but so far it's working flawlessly.
