I bought this when a family member had major surgery and needed a handheld shower head but we still use it because it's great! ADVANTAGES: Installs in about 5 minutes (including removing the old showerhead); the dial for selecting the spray pattern is easy to move; adequate choice of spray pattern and hose length; easy to take down and hang up. CONS: Smells like plastic on first install - I don't mind it, but if you're sensitive to smells this might bother you; sometimes the tension on the hose after hanging the shower head causes it to twist and spray askew instead of spraying forward where I'm standing; that's it - those two things aside, it's a simple, affordable handheld showerhead with multiple spray settings. Other reviewers have mentioned that the part that holds the shower head is difficult to use or breaks - here's my take on the matter: The part that holds the shower head is NOT the latch that the shower head fits into - and goes out. ; It's a cradle where the shower head simply rests and rises slightly. Don't try to force it in and out, it won't break!
