I was disappointed to learn that my new Canon SX60 doesn't allow you to add filters and still be able to use the lens cap. I purchased the Essential Accessory Kit and was very pleased to learn that not only are there three very useful filters that come in a protective carrying case, but most importantly that I installed the filter and lens hood and supplied them with one of my own Lens caps are supplied. Now I have what I wanted.
