In general, these are good third-party controllers. The controllers were very easy to sync to the switch, just plugging them in like OEM joycons. The controllers can also be charged when plugged into the console, which is a plus. They can also be charged via a USB-C cable, which is very handy as few third-party controllers use this standard, which is mostly used for switches. They have a nice feel when the switch is used in manual mode and work well with both split wireless controllers and attaching to the grip mount, which I purchased separately as the orange version of this controller I have doesn't have one bracket included. The keys are responsive and clicky as opposed to "soft" which I like as everyone knows exactly when the key is pressed properly. As a wireless controller, there doesn't seem to be that much lag. The motion controls work well. I used the Fitness Box game to test the motion controls, and the main drawback I saw was that the controllers' real estate was too large for me, a person with average hands by American standards, to handle in those Play comfortably with it to play . The sticks are raised higher than standard joysticks, so it takes a little getting used to, but nothing that got in the way of gameplay until I got used to it. I see myself using these joycons regularly.
