I originally bought this because I needed a self-adhesive paper towel holder for our RV. We don't have much space around our stove and I was concerned that we would forget to remove the paper towels during cooking and they would catch fire. I originally wanted to install another one with screws and it was very difficult! This is light and yet very durable! I've followed the same installation process as the command hooks I installed and it's been great so far! I ended up installing it vertically on the inside of the door under the sink with tape. Even with the door opened and closed, the camper left with the AC off and the temperature and humidity inside went up (outside temp over 90) and then the temperature dropped, it stayed in place for about a week and a half! (We also have a plastic bag holder with 3M tape that WILL NOT stand up to the same weather conditions!) It worked so well inside that I bought a second holder for my husband's camper summer kitchen! He set it up over the weekend so he only saw moderate temperatures and low humidity. It's installed horizontally so we'll see how it holds up as temperatures and humidity rise this week and the camper moves in! at first, but once I had a bun in there, there was plenty of room! We use Costco's Kirkland brand.)
