These little shoes are so cute and my daughter loves them. They are attached to the back of the shoe. It's a bit difficult for them at first to figure out how to get back on their feet, but once you have an idea, it's easy. The top strap stretches a bit and I was able to wear tights underneath with no problem. The zipper slips a bit throughout the day and I have to tighten it a bit here and there. But that might just be because she's pretty active.
