New thin processors run much cooler and make less noise than early white 360s. The 360S also has five USB ports, a built-in TOS Link output (optical audio) and a built-in Kinect connector, so you don't need an adapter to use Kinect. Another small but pleasant difference from the White 360 is the lack of buttons. You just touch the eject or power button and it will make a nice beep to let you know the button has been pressed. Need it now because the fans are VERY quiet! Buyers may notice the difference between the 360S (this one) and the 360E. Model E is the base model and does not have a TOS Link connector. You also lose the multi-audio-video output on the E. So if you're using the component or AV input on your TV, you'll have to stick with the E. The E also only has four USB ports and uses physical push buttons like the original 360s. Conclusion: THIS is the Xbox 360 to get as a replacement or if you are just starting out with the Xbox 360s! As with any model, you'll need your own HDMI cable to get started.
