Review on 16.5-Inch Wide Panoramic Rear View Mirror for 2013+ Polaris Ranger 900XP with Lock n Ride Cab (Excludes Round Roll Bar Units) by Randy Basque

The idea is good, but the implementation requires work.

Very good idea - but not perfect execution. First, I like the wide viewing angle. It was always a pain to look behind you in a Polaris Ranger with crossbars and a headrest blocking your view. So having a mirror that lets you see a panoramic view behind you is a great idea. Now for the cons. First, the manufacturers had to allow a slight tilt to the left so that the driver's viewing angle was correct; This mirror only fits up and down, not left or right. So if you stand in the middle of the steering wheel, you can see the roof pillar on the passenger side from the driver's seat and everything on the rail on the passenger side. I fixed this by drilling two holes and using two screws in the bracket, placing a couple of washers between the bracket and the RIGHT screw (passenger side) which tilted the mirror to the driver side and adjusted the viewing angle. Second, the material is very light plastic and quite thin. probably won't make much of a difference until you've assembled everything and run your car. You notice that the mirror vibrates so much when idling that you can no longer see it. I looked better when I started driving and the engine revs became more balanced, but at low speeds (or idling) you can't see anything because it shakes so much. However, it is better than without a mirror. If these two issues were fixed I would give 5 stars.
