I recently bought these sandals for an 8 day adventure in south east Mexico. We've covered 1000km on the road and walked almost as much in towns, villages, beaches and archeological sites. I've only worn these sandals as hiking shoes, shower shoes and indoor shoes - and the only time I haven't worn them was when I was sleeping in a hammock or on a bed. They didn't disappoint me and they are cute. They stay in place even over difficult terrain (as to be expected, I sometimes had to stop to offload sand or gravel). The only caveat I would suggest is that arch support is significant. If you're not used to wearing supportive shoes or if you have a low arch, it can be a little painful to get used to. I realized that when I got them and wore them around the house for a few days to get used to them. It worked and I never had any problems after that. I would recommend these sandals and would buy them again.
