We got this to keep all our shoes in one place as our kids are always trying to find their shoes and track dirt, grime etc around the house from the street. We installed it on the back door and all our kids can take better care of their shoes since we installed it and they started keeping their shoes on it. It also helped reduce the amount of dirt brought into the house by having to remove their shoes and put them on the bench when entering. It also holds a little weight very well and so we can sit on it to put on or take off our shoes without fear of them falling apart under our weight. It was easy to set up and assemble and a great addition to our home. I don't know how we survived so long without these because they help keep shoes in one place, reduce dirt and all.
