Review on GlowShift Triple Pillar 1992 1997 Pillar by Eric Jenkins

Installed on my 1996 F-350. This gauge block fits the factory plastic A-pillar. It matches the factory A-pillar plastic and looks nice, but was too wide where it meets the factory A-pillar plastic. The inside of the plastic was visible from the windshield area and the open door area. I decided to cut off the factory A-pillar plastic trim just below the top where it goes left and right to fit better. I also had to heat one edge with a heat gun and gently bend it so it was more "closed". After I did it, it fits great. This gauge will fit over your factory plastic A-pillar and looks fine, but it wouldn't look like a factory part without the modifications I made. I got this to work and look great, but it definitely doesn't look like factory without some work and a desire to cut your factory A-pillar plastic. For painting I used a plastic adhesion promoter and plastic paint. I sanded the surface as recommended in the instructions and then sanded well with the paint prep. The paint does not adhere well to plastic and scratches easily. It looks good and I can still touch it up if it gets scratched.
