Review on Grain Free Small Breed Dry Dog Food with Natural Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food – Instinct Raw Boost, High Protein Kibble by Amy Claeys

Since last year the manufacturer has changed this combination. There used to be a lot more white sublimated pieces - the mix looked something like the picture on the bag. There are now a lot fewer white freeze dried bits in the mix (my dog's favorite part). And---the last pack of Instinct Raw Boost I bought didn't have any freeze-dried raw chunks in it. (4 lb Bag, Raw Boost Chicken - Small Breed - The picture on the box was exactly the same as shown here. But ---- there were literally ZERO raw pieces. Thinking it was a one off coincidence, bought I got a second bag of Instinct Raw Boost from the pet store. That bag had a few raw pieces but still less than half of what it was last fall. The price is the same of course. I've noticed that Instinct and others Pet food companies are now selling freeze dried bags of "raw pieces" as "additives" separate from the original mixed product, so you are now paying for 2 products.
