I bought it for the obvious build quality and claimed light output. What they don't tell you is that it's practically a headlight! Yes, it can produce 15,000 lux at 20 inches, but only right down the center. The paper roll in my picture is 5 feet from the light source and the spot of light is no more than 18-20 inches in diameter. He falls too fast. This doesn't apply to adding ambient light, backlighting, or anything that requires even light distribution. Yes, it comes with a diffuser, but it's difficult to assemble in a time-sensitive environment and can't be stored pre-assembled. In addition, it cuts off more than half of the luminous flux. Don't let the luxury rating fool you. Build quality is good, but the light itself is unusable.
