While the American Metalcraft Stainless Steel Frying Cup is a fun and inviting way to serve up a decent helping of fries, its usefulness doesn't stop there. Other fried side dishes, carrot sticks, green beans, grapes and many other dishes can also be served in this studded metal wonder. At 14 ounces. he can endure a lot. It can also be used to store everyday items such as nails, screws, rubber bands, paper clips, pencils and pens and more. There are probably cheaper options out there for more everyday purposes, but nothing stops them. Also, the price is a bit high for a side case, but if you want that particular look and consider what it's made of, you can't go wrong. I really like how the Fry Cup feels in hand. The grooves in the steel give it nice texture and extra grip. They don't reach all the way to the top but catch the light with a nice shimmer (photo). Being a metal, heat and cold will be transferred from the contents to the mug, so I wouldn't recommend using it for hot liquids like soup, coffee or tea. The lip is by no means sharp, but not subtle enough to recommend drinking straight from it, although I suspect you could. This would certainly be a chic way to serve a highball or iced tea. Just be prepared for it to "sweat" a bit and use a stand under stand. Stainless steel is easy to clean and very durable. I'll see how it holds up over time, but I plan on hand washing it, so don't expect corrosion issues. If you want to improve the quality of your side dishes and/or don't want them to interact with other foods on your main plate, then the American Metalcraft Stainless Steel Roasting Bowl is a great option. A set of these is a generous and welcome gift for the right person. court
