I read many reviews before buying, but decided to buy despite the negative reviews. I was tempted to give it 5 stars instead of 4 simply because of the price, but there are some legitimate "problems". Pros: - It's hard to complain about anything considering the product only costs $14 and the fact that it comes with a hard case, silicone keyboard case and screen protector. - The cover fits well, but one of the corner clips seems to pop out every now and then (mostly when the screen is opened more than 110-135 degrees). - The silicone cover on the keyboard is excellent, fits well, does not slip, minimally affects the backlight function keys. -The front cover hides the Apple logo when the device is off, but lets it show through when it's on. The effect is like a glowing apple icon on a foggy night, which I think looks good. Cons: The plastic definitely feels a bit brittle and like it's likely to break if subjected to a real impact. That being said, it is designed to resist scratches, NO shock protection. I wouldn't recommend taking it off very often as the side tabs can break over time. The color (I order burgundy) is very different from what is pictured or what I think is burgundy. It's closer to purple burgundy and much duller than in the picture. The screen protector is terrible. I'll probably delete it and throw it away. It is made of inferior material and is significantly smaller than the screen. Which, as they say, it's not really necessary since it's not a touchscreen. There are vents all over the bottom, although there is no ventilation mechanism. This simply allows dirt/dust to get into the case, which can scratch the device over time. This, combined with the brittle plastic, is likely to be problematic as constant removal for cleaning will likely break the case lugs. All in all, if you are looking for a cheap product to prevent scratches on your shiny new MacBook Air, and as a keyboard cover, this is a GREAT buy. However, if you've just spent about $1,000 on a new laptop and don't mind shelling out another $32 (instead of $14), you should get a Speck case ($25) and any other keyboard case (they sell for $7). revane),
