This was my first time attaching knitted braids. Not only was I concerned about the styling, but also whether the hair would be visibly unobtrusive. I was also concerned about the allergic reactions that people talk about when crocheting due to the chemicals used to treat the hair. Treat this hair with ACV. No itching and no other reactions. All you need is your braids and the included hook and you're ready to install. The hair still looks good even after two applications. Just used sulfate free shampoo and left hair for future use. I bought black. eg 4/30, 1/99, 1b/99 were available. I used around 170-180 strands for a full head so it looks good both on top and bottom. That's about 7-8 packs. I ordered both 18 and 22 inches so this length is also without braids. I will not disappoint. I've received many compliments on the two installs I've done
