I was looking for a second mattress topper/cover when there is another, more expensive one from the pottery barn in the laundry room. I am very careful about the things I buy for my daughter and it took me a long time to find a mattress pad that I like. I wanted cotton on top, not loud and padded (not too little but not too much to be safe for a newborn). I am categorically against synthetic fabrics because I don't want my daughter to sweat. So before I got this one I ordered two more cases which have hundreds of reviews. Both were too loud and felt like plastic. So I had to send them back. This case was my last choice before ordering another expensive one from the pottery barn kids. But I was very happy when it arrived. It's very similar to PB, and to be honest I like it even more. It's very soft, I washed it on a warm setting and tumble dried it on a medium setting and it was perfect. It does not shrink and nestles snugly against the mattress. Pay attention to the seller. thanks for a great product. But please correct the spelling mistakes on the packaging. :)
