If you have a child who is just starting to walk, I highly recommend it! My daughter was just starting to walk and we were having trouble getting her to wear shoes, instead she wanted to go barefoot so she could sit down and take them off, but we needed shoes she could walk in outside so she could didn't hurt her legs. We ordered them because they have a flat, hard bottom that helps them stay stable and stay upright. She mastered them in no time and ended up not taking them off when she went outside. Also, she couldn't take them off because of the velcro. They are also very easy to put on so no effort is required to put them on or make my daughter stand still to lace them up!
