Review on Grain-Free High Protein Dry Cat Food: Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets by Susan Klauder

My cats love it

I have two cats - one about 3 years old - and she was vomiting hairballs at least every other day on Hill's Chicken Diet. She was tested and found nothing out of the ordinary, so we started feeding her Greaney treats along with a diet that made her hairballs go away. My other cat is about 8 years old and also vomited hairballs on the Hill diet so his vet ran some tests but found nothing but decided to give him Royal Canin Selected Protein. Selected Protein 100% helped him stop throwing up hairballs, but it made his poop smell TERRIBLE. The whole apartment stunk, especially since he's a cat who doesn't want to hide his poo in the tray. -_-After years of battling smelly poop and feeding hairballs daily, I decided to consider a protein diet that no other cat had before. I have a veterinary engineering degree and many years of experience in veterinary medicine, so I knew what I was looking for. I chose this diet because none of my cats ate salmon flavored food and I can tell you they LOVE it. We no longer have to give our one cat hairballs and another cat no longer has smelly poo! Been on the diet for probably 1.5-2 months now and so far so good! No hairballs! Definitely recommend this food once you and your vet have exhausted all other options and diets!
