To be honest I didn't have high hopes for these pillowcases given the price. Most of my throw pillows are from Pottery Barn, Ballard or handmade from quality designer fabrics. The images are screen printed onto the pillowcases and this is not a very clear/clear image - it is a bit washed out. Pumpkin pillows are forgivable and they don't notice it that much. They're soft, but they're also kind of a fabric that pills...I knew it right away when I opened them up and saw a kind of pill on the pillowcases. The quality of a decorative pillow largely depends on the quality of the insert that you put in the covers. A good down or down alternative will give you a more comfortable pillow. I figured I'd get the bluish pumpkin to work and just give the rest away. Once when I put my pillow inside I noticed that the fabric at the very top of the pillow was frayed along the top seam. It's a very noticeable black line (pre-printed sewing instructions maybe?) that put me off using these. I will give them all If you don't have a lot of money to spend on nice pillows, they can be a good find. In my case, I'd prefer at least a nice, high-quality pumpkin pillow that uses one of these.
