These bottles are slightly smaller. Originally I wanted to use them in the kitchen for oiling and seasoning. I suppose they can be used for small portions, maybe in baked goods. For regular work, you should look for a larger size. However, to "assess" the product and not get hung up without looking closely at the description, I can say that the quality of the bottles is top notch and they work well in all situations that you use. It's food safe and BPA and latex free, making it really safe to use in the kitchen. Of course, there are other areas, such as handicrafts. The possibilities are endless.
