Review on πŸ“€ 320-Disc Storage Case/Organizer by Cameron Aleman

Slightly better but still problematic

First I tried another brand of book from here on Revain that had pages sewn into the cover like a paper book. But it bothered me because once all the pages are full to flip anywhere on each page, all the discs remain under the pressure of the bindings so they never lay flat. Leaving the book open to randomly pick different discs gives me the feeling that the pressure could potentially warp the discs over time. So this one caught my attention next as the binding had two opposing large sets of rings that seemed to allow the discs to sit flat. Well they do until you start turning pages, then we're back to the same problem of discs not laying flat. And when you turn the pages, the rings open very easily, allowing the pages to slide out. So I got creative; searched "tie rings" in Revain, looking for locking rings. Found: D. Pen-Loose Leaf, pack of 20. They work very well by staying locked, creating an infinite loop to turn the pages of the disc. Also find these plastic boxes that hold "books" well with rings: Storex Classroom Student Project Box, 15.25" x 13.25" x 3.25", Assorted Shades, Pack of 5. I have saved all the pages and threw away the books from this order, used retaining rings to make the books and now when I turn the pages they all lie flat, always. And while I work on my TV show CD collection, can I take the middle ring, lift it up and it's a closed book again, but with the page I'm using on the front of the book If you're reading this and want to try the same do-it-yourself solution, buy These books don't; just buy pages instead. Cheaper.
