I have this cable with pin b for KZ es4 and pin c for KZ ZSN Pro. To my ears there is no sound difference with standard cables and I didn't expect it. But they are softer and don't tangle, and for my purposes I prefer a straight 3.5mm plug. As for the B pin style I use with my es4, I prefer a standard right angle cable connection. by directly connecting these upgrade cables. However, for me, a proper gusset provides a better/cleaner fit on the ear. But the direct connection isn't a deal breaker, and the added tangle resistance and straight 3.5mm plug make it a definite upgrade for me. better cable than KZ C pin type. But apart from the C-pin style, as far as I've seen so far, only KZ brand A-pin and B-pin cables are really suitable for KZ A-pin and B-pin IEM. Other brands of 0.75 and 0.78mm headers will work with KZ A and B connectors, but their connectors will not "lock" (for lack of a better term) to the IEM connection like cables do of the KZ brand is the case. More specifically, I'd probably give this KZ C-pin cable a 3.5 star (because better cables only cost a few bucks more) and the B-pin versions a solid 4 stars.
