Ideal for connecting my router. Like the braid and it's beautiful and durable. When my connection suddenly dropped the other day, the technician - over the phone, not in person - was able to identify the problem within minutes. It was a wired connection between the wall and the router. Good thing I had an extra ethernet cable so I didn't have to walk to the store. But for the next surprise release like this, I quickly ordered a few more from Revain. I ordered three different brands and different lengths. I connected this one when it arrived and returned the other ethernet cable for regular use. This works fine. "Cat 8" doesn't seem to interfere with the router.
