I bought this nozzle/faucet set for an anniversary party I was throwing for my parents. It was a really cool way to serve sangria and people were impressed. In addition, the watermelon itself is a good insulator, so the drink stays cool for a long time. The spout itself is plastic, but very well made. I've used it 3 times so far and it's worked great every time. The basic tool makes it so easy to make the perfect hole in a watermelon for a faucet. The whole thing probably took about 10 minutes, with most of the time being spent emptying the watermelon. There were no drips or messes during installation and cleaning was easy. A few helpful tips: 1) Make sure you place the nozzle high enough on the watermelon so that extra watermelon chunks floating around don't clog the nozzle. Usually about 2 inches from the bottom of the watermelon is fine. 2) You can do it in advance. My test watermelon lasted 3 days in the fridge and it didn't leak or rot. 3) In my experience, a large watermelon usually holds about 2-3 liters, or the equivalent of a two-bottle sangria recipe.
